Red Sails – Episode 8

In the nineteenth-century South China Sea, smuggler Captain Thomas Mercer is captured by pirate warlord Wei after claiming his opium cargo sank with his ship. Bound to a magistrate’s chair and pressed to reveal the truth, Thomas holds his nerve while his battered crew risks everything to rescue him. Episode 8: As a sepoy attacks Thomas aboard the hulk, Ram’s daring shot breaks the assault and the crew casts off. A timed bomb wrecks the wharf as the hulk smashes through the berth, sending the red-sailed junk into open water with its stolen silver.
