In the nineteenth-century South China Sea, smuggler Captain Thomas Mercer is captured by pirate warlord Wei after claiming his opium cargo sank with his ship. Bound to a magistrate’s chair and pressed to reveal the truth, Thomas holds his nerve while his battered crew risks everything to rescue him. But the cargo is still intact, and a marked chart points toward a hidden anchorage behind the last island—where armed enemies and a dangerous reckoning await.
Episode 2: A supposed trade route is exposed as a rendezvous, and sudden gunfire turns the meeting into chaos. Ram races to free Captain Elias Rook, but with only four or five crew still standing, a new ship forces a hard choice.
